Objectives: 

The employability of Kosovar youth is improved.


Description: 

The project applies a bottom-up approach and mainly addresses stakeholders at the local level such as vocational education and training institutes, local employment offices, youth centres and businesses. Addressing concerns of the private sector over a skills mismatch, programme activities aim to improve the quality of vocational education and training, together with formal and non-formal labour market instruments and youth engagement activities. The programme promotes the interfaces between youth employment and the vocational education and training sector by strengthening cooperation between the related stakeholders.

  • Labor market measures adapted to the needs of young people and the needs of employers are being implemented.

  • Decision makers are provided with a replicable model for a qualification and recognition, adapted to the needs of the local and the German shortage occupations.
