The Joint History Project (JHP) is an ongoing multi-perspective and participative approach to history education in Southeast Europe, where the long-term aim is to encourage, support and bring about democratic change in the region. The JHP seeks to foster, rather than silence, independent thought and uses history education as a powerful tool for bolstering and guiding societies towards peaceful, democratic and inclusive futures. Specifically, the JHP aims at achieving this higher objective by introducing multi-perspective, participative methodologies of history education into the classrooms of South east Europe, and by enabling teachers to appropriately utilize these
Projektet e ndërlidhura :
1) 10 local teacher trainers have their trainer skills strengthened and updated to provide their peers with high quality training workshops;
2) 75 teachers are trained at workshops and have the ability to use multi perspective history
materials in their classrooms;
3) 125 additional history teachers are enabled to use multi-perspective teaching methods and materials in their history classrooms.
