Aim of this project is to increase respect for other people’s cultural backgrounds by protecting cultural heritage.
A total of 350 children ranging in age from 10 to 15 will be involved in three activities. All activities will be multi-ethnic as 150 Bosnian, 50 Albanian, 50 Turkish, 40 Gorani, 30 Serbs and 30 RAE children will be involved in the project. The first activity consists of a lecture in schools to inform the children on the concept of cultural heritage. The second activity consists of workshops for the children in schools on protection and promotion of cultural heritage. Lastly, the NGO will take the children to the main monuments of Pristina as a cultural trip. There will be 7 one-day trips, each time 50 children of different ethnic backgrounds will come along.
