Objectives: 

The activity objectives are as following: 

1. Conducting an annual survey of economic governance in all Kosovo municipalities, identifying good practices, compiling the results, and ranking each municipality in an annual Municipal Competitiveness Index Report.

2. Reviewing the Report results with each municipal administration and its residents so they can better understand the survey results, identify best practices and formulate policies that improve economic governance in their respective municipalities.

Description: 

The activity will help increase municipal governments’ sensitivity to the views and concerns of their business communities; help municipal administrators better understand the proper role of municipal governance in a market economy, and spur them to evaluate and make changes as necessary to their policies and practices, based on the findings of the MCI II.
